Great variety
We got these as a transplant and were a little skeptical with them coming in the mail but they have been great! They arrived quickly and looked healthy. Once we planted they went through a little bit of transplant shock but bounced back quickly and have grown quite well in our PNW garden. Will definitely try these again next year from seed.

San MARZANO transplants
I started tomatoes from seed, but my cat got them and I had to replant the seeds. They weren’t doing so well, so I decided to order some plants. I’ve done plants from territorial seed in the past, and I’ve always had good luck with them. The plants are excelling and bearing fruit as we speak!

Looking very healthy mid July
I have been growing this particular variety from grafted transplants from Territorial for many years and have nearly always been pleased by them (except the one year they goofed and sent me a plant that had the wrong variety grafted onto the root- a striped beefsteak.) I can't report on flavor yet, but the plant is setting nicely shaped fruit which should ripen in another three to four weeks. And the shape definitely looks like San Marzanos, so the company learned their lesson. So far, so good. But with gardening, you never know.
