A wonderful bean
I plant this bean every year, because it produces beautiful,wonderful-tasting, crispy and tender filet beans that I just love and could never find in even the most gourmet of grocery stores or farmers’ markets.

Maxibel filet bush beans.
I tried these beans this year and found them to be disappointing. When the beans are first formed they are okay; but the flavor is unremarkable. After about two weeks they start to get stringy and fiberous to the point we quit eating them. This was long before the seeds started to enlarge. I would not recommend this variety and give it about 2 stars.

Great seed
Perfect germination rate, unfortunately the slugs or bunnies loved them so i have no plants to show for all my effort. 😕
