First time online
A great experience! During a warm spell in central California I direct-sowed my first planting (February 28). They are now (April 15) twelve inches tall. The second planting is struggling to break ground due to cold and rain, We'll see!

Blue Lake Beans Are The Best
I have been growing Blue Lake beans (both pole and bush varieties) for several years and always get good yields. The quality is consistently better than the green beans we find in stores while they are in season.

Blue Lake Beans
These are my favorite beans! I plant them every year. They're great fresh and freeze well too. In just a few days I will taste this year's crop.
