Kuroda Improved Carrot

Our favorite carrot! Excellent flavor, grows well and stores well (in the fridge for 3-4+ months). Relatively thick carrot, so we use it for carrot sticks as well as carrot circle slices. The best (as with almost any carrot) is to plant it late summer/early fall and harvest after the first frost for the best flavor, as the sugars concentrate after the frost. Our go-to carrot! Zone 7A gardener.
