I have grown Red Sails for years. Never disappoints. Never bitter and doesn't want to bolt. It adds so much color and flavor to any salad.

My favorite lettuce
I got the pelleted seed, since the regular was out at the time I ordered. First round of planting 16 seeds, no germination, I thought Uh-Oh, then planted the rest of the packet in a row, and they ALL germinated! NowI’m transplanting little starts everywhere. This lettuce grows fast ad healthy, has delightful crunch and is really pretty in a salad.
