Somewhat great

Love the over all features but it almost never gets my dog drinking water. He will eat his food and then drink water. It says he was there but did not drink even tho he does. Then I get alerts that he has not drank any water. For a big selling point to monitor drinking health its pretty bad it cant tell he drinks after appearing but waits to drink.

I purchased this because it was advertised as not needing to clean a pump and just replace a cube once a month, but that’s not true. There are still little pump pieces that needs to be cleaned weekly. This is too expensive of a machine to still have little parts that need constant cleaning. Additionally, the unit experiences a lot of failures. The schedule to auto drain and refill based on a schedule will not always happen. The motion detection water flow works less than 50% of the time, that I just had to put it on constant flow. The arm that controls the flow will not drop back down at least twice a week based on the scheduling. I have to drain and reset the water waste container even though it was never touched. And you have to shove it in there hard or it won’t click to recognize the container so that water can be filled. The only pros for this system right now is that my cat had a UTI, so I was able to see based on water visits and duration if the medication was working; and it is quite so the constant water flow is not audible. The cube itself is fine - my cat only wants to drink from the fountain once a drain and refill is performed. I don’t know what it is about the recycle water flow that he does not care for. I have cleaned and recleaned everything (including all little pump pieces) twice now, filling with purified water.

The cube is great. Just need to modify the bowl on the fountain. My high maintenance Persians go to the water fountain, which I have two of. I took one away to get them to use this one. They bypass it. Especially my two boys. The bowl needs to be shorter in the area where they are standing to reach over. They seem to rather drink out of a bowl on the other water bowl, which also dumps the water into a separate bowl and refills. The cube is just fine. I will look into the special cubes, can you make an all in one? The one for uti, bladder stones, fur balls, all that is needed. It’s just my 4 Persians don’t seem to care about reaching down over the wall, they love how the other is designed to drink out on their face level. Also I love the camera it’s awesome and I love the fountain part, it’s actually too quiet. They need to hear a noise lol
