Surprising robust
Despite being very light weight, my Durston trekking poles are exceptionally robust. They serve double duty for me - tent poles and trekking poles. Great buy.

Great trekking poles
Pros- Extremely light, very durable, adjustment stays in place securely, grip doesn’t turn hand black on long treks, strap is comfortable and light and easily adjustable. cons- would like to see a more formed hand grip with a bigger down hill cap. Also, doesn’t come with rubber tips or snow accessories for the price point.

Works great. A few questions
The poles are light and work great. I understand the straps were added on popular request but they don't at all feel like an afterthought; they are light, allow the hands to breath and distribute pressure/weight well. I appreciate that the locking mechanism for the adjustment doesn't have parts that stick out, and that you can adjust tension with either a Phillips or flathead screwdriver, and I'm likely to be carrying something suitable, but I do wish that the adjustment didn't require any tools at all for the case that adjustment is needed on the trail. My only real complaint is that I don't understand why the length markings are only every 5 cm. This seems like a design decision that prioritizes form over function. There are numerous ways to express a minimalist aesthetic while allowing fine, fast, and accurate pole adjustments. There's no iron triangle here.
