Altura Dynamic Pants

Great product. The fit is perfect, love the integrated belt, and the heat dump side zips work well. I would recommend this product and these pants are great for backpacking and / or backcountry hunting. Wanted to use them in the field before I wrote a review.

My first purchase from OV some time ago was a single sun hoodie. After wearing that almost constantly during a 5 week mostly boondocking trip through Montana, the PNW, Utah and Colorado this past April I bought two more of those and decided to try the Altura pants. I’ve generally disliked synthetic fabric pants, and I lean hard away from anything suggestive of premium pricing, but these were a winning bet. Surprised? More than pleasantly. I haven’t had occasion to wear them in any outdoor pursuits, but I’ve worn nothing else casually since I first put them on. Each time I’ve reached for my jeans, my hands pass over to grab the Alturas. They win at fit, comfort, aesthetics, and present a great value proposition. In the face of current basic Levi’s prices, my resistance to any notion of undue premium has gone out the window. Another pair - or two - are in my near future. That’s the ultimate evaluation.
