X-Dome 2 Groundsheet

I received the wrong groundsheet with my tent, so I contacted Durston and they immediately sent me the correct groundsheet with no charge. Great customer service!! The tent and groundsheet are awesome - I’m very happy with my new X-Dome 2. Just finished camping in Nova Scotia and PEI and I hope to use it for many more outdoor adventures.

X-Dome 2 Groundsheet

I have both a custom Tyvek groundsheet and a Durston X-Dome 2 groundsheet. I chose Durston over Tyvek because Durston is definitely lighter. The Durston will fit the exact dimensions of the inner tent tub floor. It also feels thicker in material. Also, the first time I used it I kept the groundsheet attached by the hooks to the tent’s four corners and rolled it up. The second time I used it, the groundsheet was already attached, and it made the process quicker. Overall, I am impressed by the Durston groundsheet. Highly recommend it.

Way better than Tyvek

Just upgraded from Tyvek to this groundsheet. The benefits of the groundsheet are it’s lighter, quieter and fits so much better. Price is right too. I thought being able to attach it would be a benefit, but I still end up packing it separately since it’s almost always wet.
