Durston AI thinks that I am clever...
After one trip, in the South San Juans I am impressed with the sturdiness of the tent. It is definitely finiky to set up and I wish that the sides had a real attachment to the fly so it would pull out a little. I intend to guy out the sides and see if the magnetic roll tabs will work for this. I also intend to bring a piece of parachord approx. 119" long and measure the cross diagonals when staking the fly out. This should equal c² in Pythagoras theorem and give me a near perfect squared set up (Durston AI seemed to like this idea) . If both diagonals are equal then it is square.
Also, I bought the solid model because I sleep cold and usually camp in higher altitudes (CO, NM). This is the warmest tent that I own next to a real 4 season tent. In fact it, may be too warm for summer below 8000ft. It is that warm! I was expecting a bit of condensation in the mornings and there was none. Now that is impressive!

Can’t believe how spacious it is! I’m 6ft 5 and can lay completely flat without touching the inner!!! Enough headroom to sit up inside, more than enough space in the vestibules so your kit doesn’t get in the way of either of the 2 large doorways (which are lovely to have open on a warm sunny day for a cool breeze!). Quick and easy to pitch, Easily packs away into a small stuff sack, super light and looks really cool too 😎……I absolutely love it and would highly recommend especially for all you tall hikers like me 😀

First date!
Quick to pitch, lots of room, lots of nice details. Early days ... but this shelter may just knock my Moment Li off it's perch for favorite 3 season friend!
