Size up!
I just rode a 2-week bikepacking trip in this sun hoodie. It's really solid, but could be improved. The fabric in the new blend is quite nice. It's very soft, seems durable enough, and smells worse after a few days than pure merino but much better than any synthetic I've had. It also kept me comfortably cool on some really hot days in the sun and seems to dry faster than pure merino. My qualms are mostly with the cut. This size M fits as narrow as my size S sun hoodie from MH, but it's shorter in the arms and torso. The hood is also very small, with no real room for ventilation and definitely no room for a helmet. And while I knew it didn't have thumb holes, I wasn't expecting the sleeves to sit high enough that I needed to sunscreen my wrists between the shirt and my sun gloves. I would consider a size L, and I don't wear a L in anything. If you size up and don't mind a tight hood with no thumb holes, this is a great shirt.

A great all-weather sun hoodie
I wore this at high altitude in Colorado and it was comfortable in sunshine/high 80s as well as clouds/high 60s during the same hike. Highly recommend. The only improvement is that thumb holes need to be added!

Great hoodie with an odd ill-fitting hood
I was hesitant to try out this hoodie as a woman since it only comes in unisex sizing. The fit of the XS is actually quite good, with the exception of the hood. This is the smallest hood I’ve ever encountered on a hoodie. It doesn’t even cover my hair fully, let alone my forehead or side of my cheeks for sun coverage. It also has oddly low coverage on the neck. The fabric is really nice and comfortable but I can’t get over the oddly fit hood.
