Baratza Encore / ESP Single Dose Hopper & Optional Bellows Combo

Fantastic Product!

I was gifted the encore esp for my high school graduation this spring! I am a barista is the great city of Cincinnati, and my home setup was greatly upgraded when receiving the esp. I did much research on the grinder and quickly found out about the retention. This product is everything I needed and more! It look so sleek and it works perfectly! Hopper with bellows on Baratza Encore ESP

Installation was simple, even without the included manual. It definitely improves the appearance and also reduces the overall height of the grinder. As for functionality, it works as expected — you grind your coffee, press the bellows, and some of the retained coffee gets pushed out. Sometimes you still need to give the grinder a little tap to fully release the remaining grounds. One downside of the compact version is that during grinding, you first need to use the included lid instead of the bellows. Only after part of the coffee has been ground can you switch to the bellows and use it properly. Overall, this product is very well built, easy to use, and I hope it lasts for a long time. I would definitely rate it very positively.

Makes the grinder look better too

I love my Single Dose Hopper & Bellows for my Baratza Encore ESP. I was going to got the Bellows for the hopper that came with the grinder, and grabbed a Single Dose Hopper at the last second...i love how it makes the grinder nearly 4" shorter (more with the hopper on it)...now it hides on the coffee station. AND i don't leave tons of coffee grinds in the grinder anymore. I had no idea how much coffee never made it to the portafilter!
