Varia VS3 Grinder

I very much like this grinder. It does the job perfectly for making espresso. I like that it is for a single grind. The grind is always exact and the plunger top cleans out any extra grounds nicely. Plus, I like how quiet it is.

This is my second VS3 in 2 years.

This is my second Varia VS3 in the last 2.5 years. The first one I bought for a full price when it was first released. It eventually stopped powering on after 1.5 years (with all of the regular and appropriate care and cleaning). Also, the grind dial was floating during the grinding process, which appears to be a commonly reported malfunction. It appears, that the issue with the dial floating is also continuing in the new unit only after 2 days of use. The new unit appears to work more quietly than when the model was first released (so, that's kind of nice). I still opted in to give VS3 another try because of the reduction in cost and relative affordability. The customer service with 'Whole Latte Love' so far has been good (timely processing and shipment of the order). But the duration of the delivery of the shipment by the courier was just ok.

Price Quality & Performance…a trifecta grinder
