Panama

The sound yet to be tested, but!!!

I have to say one thing about the Panama set - the neck humbucker doesn't line up with the strings, it's as wide as the bridge. The Epiphone humbuckers I took out of the guitar have different screw and slug spacing for the neck and bridge humbucker, overall Epiphone SG Pro humbucker build quality looks a bit better. Also, the wire comes out from top part of the humbucker plate, not the bottom, so the wire has to in addition be run from the pickup cavity, making it shorter in the end. Not a problem specifically, but a discomfort and a minus from the perfection standpoint. As of the sound of the pickups, I'm sure they're great. Will give 'em a go when I have the time. But I don't know if the alignment thing is normal. It weirds me out a little looking at the guitar and I'm thinking something should be done regarding production of neck pickups.

Really pleased with this humbucker, great build quality and tone. Will defiantly buy more pickups from Tonerider.

I have two Ibanez guitars and I have Tonerider pickups in both. In one the bridge has a dimarzio gravity storm, and the neck has a Tonerider Panama- and while they obviously sound different, the power and quality of the Panama matches perfectly with the diMarzio. My other guitar has a Rocksong and Birmingham in it and it also sounds great. Not only do these pickups hold their own among the bigger brands, they are far less expensive. You really can't go wrong.
