Really enjoying these!
Super clear and detailed sound. I’d say it blurs the line a bit between PAF and P90 or at least in a bright sounding guitar. The output would suit quite a lot of styles but I think if you need something with a really tight bottom end for the chuggy stuff it will get by but not sure it will scratch that itch. In my mind these are what rock sounds like. I had a slight hiccup with my order and the guys sorted me out super fast. The correct item was with me in 3days on the other side of the world. Been playing tonerider pickups for 13 years and I’m always impressed with what comes out the speakers 👌

Pickup change for my PRS SE 24-08
I purchased a gently used PRS SE 24-08 in Erika Verde (lime green). I already had the same guitar but different color. So decided to modify by changing pickups that would closely match the PRS 85/15 pickups used on their Custom 24. Birmingham closely matches the impedance of both the neck and bridge pickups. Guitar sounds great! More sustain and richer tone.

Why pay more
I've got a Birmingham in the bridge of my Les Paul and it's a lot clearer than the Gi#+on one I took out, I also built my own Mahogany bodied guitar for the heavier side of things, this has a Firepower in the bridge, masses of clear filth and cleans up nicely, these are my opinions, with my gear, I've been through the usual big names and was never 100% happy, but it was a case of, it must be me because this cost £200, guess what, I decided, on reading reviews to try Tonerider and I'm not going back, most of my customers now want Toneriders fitted
