I was looking for great sounding and affordable pickups, I am amazed by the sound and reactiveness. Great dynamics, tight distortion on the bridge, and the neck pickup have beautiful cleans with a very nice split coil sound with a nice spank to it if you want. If you are looking for a swiss-army-knife set, this is the answer.

Transformed a 90s shred machine into a versatile beast!

Installed the Generator set (with an F-Spaced bridge pickup for my tremolo-equipped Yamaha RGX 421) as part of a full restoration. The guitar originally had high-output ceramic pickups that were loud but lacked definition and dynamics. Switching to these Alnico V humbuckers was a game-changer. Yes, there is a slight natural drop in raw volume compared to hot ceramics, but what I gained in clarity, definition, and dynamics is priceless. The guitar has completely changed its skin: it went from being a pure 90s shred tool to an incredibly versatile instrument. I can now roll back the volume for pristine cleans, play warm jazz/blues licks, or crank the gain for powerful modern alternative/nu-metal crunch. Exceptional pickups with great articulation even under heavy distortion!

Great pickups

I bought my first set to replace the stock pickups in a PRS SE Custom 24. It has been night and day, especially at high volume. I have another set in a low budget but nicely built guitar, and it sounds killer. All for half the price of the typical pickup brands.
