Sensibly Priced Workhorse

This knife is a great value (when on sale) depending on that you are looking for. I got it for my mom during the Thanksgiving sale as a thank you gift for hosting. She is not a pinch grip user, so this knife (with the full bolster) checked all the boxes for her. - basically maintenance free stainless steel - check - easy to hold slightly rubberized handle - check - full bolster for extra grip/slippage protection - check - forgiving hardness if she hits some bones - check Whether for yourself or as a gift, its a reliable knife from a reputable knife maker. For a sensible price (again when on sale), you get a knife that's still forged and made in Germany (unlike cheaper Henkel/Zwilling knives that are stamped in China).
