Ruck Slings

I have only used these a couple of times, but to this point I find them well constructed and very comfortable. The feature I like most that isn’t detailed on the website is that they have two different hand hold positions. This is very convenient, as one sits at a perfect place for comfort when you’re just giving your arms a rest, the other is the perfect postion to help lift the load off your shoulders.

Must-Have Accessory

These make all the difference in the world. It really helps to have positioning options so you can have higher overall comfort during your entire ruck. With these, you can shift the weight on your shoulders and even extend your arms overhead to relieve weight for short periods. I like to either put my hands or forearms in the loops. It may look a little goofy, but it's comfortable. The padding is nice and they are well made. You can even cross them in front of you and when you don't want to use them, you can toss them over your shoulders so they're out of the way. It's also nice to just have somewhere to put your hands because whenever I wear backpacks, I usually hold the straps. Second to the hip belt, I think this is a necessary accessory to maximize your comfort.
