Between the written instructions and the video, this pattern was a breeze to make. Directions were very clear. I was especially pleased with the note in the pattern as to how to place directional fabric on the waistband when sewing it onto the shorts. I’ve already made two pairs of shorts from this pattern, and plan on making many more. Thank you for a great pattern

This is my first time ordering from Twig & Tale. I was really impressed by the quality of this pattern. The pattern really minimized unnecessary printing and taping which I appreciated. I felt the pattern included a lot of finishing touches, like edge stitching, that made the finished product feel higher quality. I've already bought fabric for a second of pair of these shorts for my other son!

Simple, beautiful pattern.

I made two sizes of the above knee shorts view of the Scout Pattern (5 and 10). I found the pattern simple and straight forward. Instructions were good and the pattern drafting was good. I very much like the front patch pockets, they add interest and would look super cute in a contrast block colour, though I pattern matched mine due to big print energy. Super quick to sew, I'd happily recommend this pattern.
