Cherry End Grain Cutting Board

Perfect!

The quality of the board is exceptional—it’s beautiful and a joy to use in the kitchen. I’m very impressed with the craftsmanship. The only downside was the maintenance oil I ordered separately; it arrived with a greasy bottle, which seems like an issue with the bottle itself rather than the contents. Otherwise, a fantastic product.

I love this board so much. It's not exactly commonplace to refer to a cutting board as a showstopper, but that's exactly what it is. I have gotten so many compliments on it during the five years I've owned it. (I keep it out on my counter, because yes, it's a stout specimen, but also because it's practically a work of art.) As for what it *does*, I cook a lot (surprise, surprise), and this thing is virtually indestructible. After five years of daily use and occasional waxing (basically, whenever it looks like it needs it—I'm not a fanatic about it), it honestly looks pretty much as good as new. I seriously could gift it to someone in its current condition. It's not cheap, and you can't stick it in your back pocket, but it's beautiful enough that I *want* it out, and I am confident I will never, ever need to buy another full-sized cutting board. It's a classic "buy it for life" pick-up. I'd highly recommend it for anyone seriously considering it. (Final note: I got the finger grooves and the top juice grooves, and I'm very happy with both add-ons.)

Board Treatment “kit” a fine addition

Very satisfied with the care ‘kit’ I purchased for a couple cutting boards I bought from Boardsmith. The boards are beautiful & the mineral oil and ‘board butter’ made the boards even more attractive and durable. Highly recommend for maintaining these cutting ‘blocks’!
