Cherry End Grain Cutting Board

Great board

We have only used it a few times, but were happy with it. We followed the oil and butter board directions to a T and will continue with that. We are vegan so we cut a lot and look forward to many years of use and also put it in our will to hand down to the next generation.

I love it, but.....

The Cherry End Grain Cutting Board that I purchased can almost be described as a piece of art. It is beautiful. Other than the thickness, it is the same dimensions (length and width) of a much cheaper cutting board that I've had for years. But it is so massive and so very heavy. It overwhelms the counter that I have it sitting on. I have been applying the oil and butter balm as directed but I actually haven't used the board yet. I think it's just going to take a while to get used to it. It is so beautiful that I'm almost reluctant to use it at all.
