Edge Grain Cutting Board

Quality board, great customer service

For years I have used cheap plastic cutting boards. Recently, I decided to upgrade my kitchen tools with high quality. After doing some research, I came to the conclusion that The Boardsmith boards are the best choice for quality. I was not disappointed. However, having a quality cutting board requires the proper care. Obviously, I am a novice in this area. I found that the company was easy to contact and were very kind and helpful in giving advice and answering my questions even though I contacted them a couple of times. Growing up with a farming background, I've learned that dealing with a trustworthy business is as important as the deal itself. The Boardsmith company appears to be a trustworthy company.

Perfect

Great board. A little thinner and lighter than the end grain boards, but still sturdy. I got this for everyday use, while the larger end grain is for bigger meal prep. It fits what I needed exactly, and looked incredible. Ultimately I slightly prefer the end grain board, but if I’m comparing this to other edge grain boards I’ve tried I have to give it five stars.
