Classic Percale Fitted Sheet

I love this sheet so much! I got it in white and cloud (the latter has an ever-so-slight blue tint). I especially appreciate its crispness, even as it also feels soft. It's also cooling, IMO. I'd resisted repurchasing because of the price and because the first iteration I had of this sheet only last ~7 years, but I wish I'd repurchased sooner. Longevity was impacted by the fact that it's my favorite fitted sheet and I constantly washed and reused.

Current percale feels a bit rougher and warmer than previous percale batches

We've enjoyed our previous white and cream percale fitted sheets and needed to purchase backups so the every-other-week washing wouldn't wear out the original ones. However, the new white and new cream fitted percale sheets feel rougher than the first purchase, and a little warmer. The cooler, smoother feel of the originals from a couple years ago was the point of percale. Color is a little different, too, particularly on the cream, but that's just an FYI, not a concern.

Not the Original!

I purchased the original Brooklinen sheets in 2020, ripped at my husband’s feet so went in search of exact ones. I had to complete a Google search and also read on Brooklinen’s website that the percale sheets were like the originals. They are NOT. Very disappointed, I wish I would have returned them as I’ve washed them several times and they are still very stiff. Why can’t companies just continue to produce items that we love?
