best purchase i made in a while.

I can’t say how delighted i was with this purchase. Hopefully it will last a long time. We bought this on sale. It was a bargain . Our old S8 Jura lasted 10 years and was dragging a little bit. We loved that machine but this machine is every bit as good and better with its updates etc at a much better cost when on sale. We stumbled upon Whole Latte Love and they became part of the reason we went with The Gaggia Academia. Solid purchase, great “coffees” , a machine that broadens your tastes, and great execution by a company that knows how to execute service and expertise without being coffee snobs.

Pros: High temperature, and quality of the pull. Ease in making milk drinks especial Cappuccinos. The milk carafe can be stored in the refrigerator. The ability to set up 4 completely different profiles with different coffee settings is a plus. Cons: Small water reservoir, and limited to only medium roast beans. Great automatic. I've owned several automatics and this unit is by far the best. IMHO the Pros far outweigh the Cons.

This machine is life! I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase. The self cleaning features make it very easy and the drinks taste delicious. I feel like I’m in Italy every morning!
