Lavazza Espresso Italiano Whole Bean

Reviewing coffee (and the flavors of foods and drinks more generally) is a bit of an exercise in frustration. In the case of coffee, variables like the grind (fineness), the water-to-coffee ration, the brew temperature, etc. , make evaluating a challenge. We use a Jura E-8 to make our coffee and find this bean to offer nothing remarkably good or objectionable. It does not wow us, nor do we recall guests commenting favorably on it. We will not buy it again unless we find another coffee with which to blend it.
