Back Pain From Crandall's New Foam Seat Pad

The upholstery on my original Steelcase Leap v2 foam seat pad was wearing out, but the seat cushion itself was fine. I could not find the upholstery only, so I chose Crandall's New Foam Seat Pad replacement. I immediately noticed lower back pain and pain behind my legs after my first proper session on this new new foam pad, so I reported it to Crandall. Unfortunately, they did not accept returns or exchanges. That's a very non-friendly policy for something that costs a premium and nobody can honestly evaluate until they sit on it. I figured maybe the pain will go away after a "break-in" period, but it has only gotten worse after a few weeks of use. $165 down the drain and now I'm back in the market for the original Leap v2 foam pad.

It’s a genuinely good replacement for a worn down seat! The customer service is fantastic too! The whole process is smooth and the result is satisfying.
