The desk was not hard to put together. I appreciated having the tools included in the kit. The materials are sturdy and seem well-made. The mechanism to lift and lower the surface has worked perfectly throughout my first week using it.

Plan some time to put it together, but it’s worth it! So smooth and quiet. And beautiful too. We love the solid wood and truly wonderful craftsmanship of this desk. We ordered 2, and just ordered a matching file cabinet as well.
