Exit Chute for DF Series Grinders

A must

This is a must if you have the V1 grinder. However, the company should provide these components, shipped free of charge, to anyone who bought their grinder from them. We paid $100s for a grinder that had a poor design and then had to fork over more money to get new parts. The company argued with me about their warranty policy instead of graciously providing great service.

So far so good

I got the new chute (I already had the new metal declumper). Definitely less to zero static. The coffee seems to flow out well. I still pump the bellows out of habit. The new chute is wider for sure. I think we have a winner

No more Cloggs for now

I got this chute as the original one keept clogging every few weeks. Sometimes more often. The new one seems to be better at letting everything out. No cloggs or similar for now. Changing the chute was easy enough. But i Dislike the crimp connectors that where included. I switched them out for Wago connectors. The product is good and does its job. One thing that wasnt so great was the delivery costs, but thats because I live in germany. Couldnt find something comparable in germany so I ordered it from here. The shippingcosts was already higher then the product price and then I had to pay import duty, also more then the product price. That was kind of annoying. Not sure if this is something that could be improved upon. There are ways to prepay the duty with the carrier. Not sure if that would be worth the effort though.
