Exit Chute for DF Series Grinders

No more Cloggs for now

I got this chute as the original one keept clogging every few weeks. Sometimes more often. The new one seems to be better at letting everything out. No cloggs or similar for now. Changing the chute was easy enough. But i Dislike the crimp connectors that where included. I switched them out for Wago connectors. The product is good and does its job. One thing that wasnt so great was the delivery costs, but thats because I live in germany. Couldnt find something comparable in germany so I ordered it from here. The shippingcosts was already higher then the product price and then I had to pay import duty, also more then the product price. That was kind of annoying. Not sure if this is something that could be improved upon. There are ways to prepay the duty with the carrier. Not sure if that would be worth the effort though.

Good Improvement

This exit chute is a good improvement over the original one that came with my grinder. The opening is larger and the anti-static system is better. I get much less mess and clumping in the new chute. Glad I upgraded it.

So far so good

As of this writing, it appears to be good. However, it does not include the required replacement declumper that must be ordered separately and pay for shipping separately. This is an extra $15 for a one dollar small piece of metal. This should’ve been made clear on the website prior to having ordered the chute. Now I’m waiting an extra two weeks to get the declumper . So I haven’t really had a chance to test the chute properly.
