Received a defective item and didn’t receive replacement
1/26/24 Update: item finally arrived and I’ve removed the chargeback request from AMEX. Luke asked me to update the review. Still way too much of a hassle for such a small ticket item. I ordered a milk frothing thermometer which wasn’t a high dollar purchase but when it came it was DOA. Tried troubleshooting with Luke and he determined it was defective and send another unit. I offered to send the defective unit back but he declined. He sent out another unit which is now over a week late with no updates from USPS. The unit is showing “moving through network” for the last week. It’s coming from WA state to CA and shouldn’t take this long. Emailed Luke again and he told me to file a claim and let him know if it’s lost so He can file a claim with USPS before sending me a replacement. Again, not a high dollar amount. I’m doing a chargeback now with AMEX and going with the Decent version even though it’s more. Wanted to share my experience in case so others aren’t surprised if they get the same customer service from MiiCoffee.
