Walnut Magnetic Saya for 8.25" Gyuto

Not the best fit.

The on I received with the knife is too big and the magnet did not work. Cutlery and More immediately replaced the Saya, but it did not work as well. Appears well made and is good looking, but simply put, I think it is too big for the knife. Cutlery and More's customer service is top notch and deserves 5 stars on its own.

Not applicable to all knife brands

Tested it on my takayuki gyuto; while everything was solid, the saya kept slipping off when held vertically. That matters a lot to me as i constantly move around with my knife at my workplace. Thought the magnet might’ve been the issue, but ultimately it was that the spine of my blade was too thin for it to properly latch on to the magnet.
