The taste of the meat is great, I expected some plain ground pork also , which I use frequently. My other concern was all the preservatives in the ham and bacon after being raised out of cages.

Best Pork
We have tried the breakfast sausage, the bacon, and a ham for Easter. All of it was fantastic. We love the breakfast sausage and the ham was one of the best we ever had. I would definitely recommend this purchase of half a hog or buy small quantities. It is all well worth it.
