Three stars for the technology it’s awesome! However, the fact that you can’t directly fully utilize Guitar Pro 8 sucks! The cheap 3rd party only allows you to upload one song at a time and lacks the quality of GP8, if you need a couple days to work through a song you have to search and re upload it every time, basically the third party software is not remotely like using Guitar Pro8! Big let down!

Whether beginner or have played guitar for years, if you didnt really practice all of the scales or know where everything is, this is a really fun way to pratice and even write. Does chords, scales, aroeggios(which are fun to write with), and otherwise can do a lightshiw that is sound activated… several modes. Has built in tuner(on app) as well. Built well, sound is not bad either.

App doesnt always work with the guitar. Multiple times of Turning both the app and the guitar off and back on to get the lights to show up on the fret board. Decent quality guitar. Great app for scales and chords but some sync issue between the two.
