Pickaso Rotary Bow

I wanted to like this product as seen videos online. It may still be useful for somethings but here is my personal observation. The bow is not rechargeable so it always needs to be plugged into a power supply which makes it very awkward and less likely to use. I just presumed that it would be rechargeable but it’s not. Even on fast mode, I still think the bow speed is a little bit slow. You need a lot of rosin on the bow and sometimes even then it catches on a regular guitar string. I did make an interesting sound on a double bass on lower strings. The tremolo effect is quite good but again the speed of the rotary bow is not as fast as I would like and it is difficult control the speed. For the pricetag I expected it to be at least rechargeable so that it would be portable. I know that it uses a lot of power, but even even if it worked for 15-20 minutes and required a recharge it would be better than having to plug it in all the time.

The Pickaso Rotary Bow is a fantastic device.

It allows you to play instruments that were never designed to be bowed, making it easy and enjoyable to explore entirely new sounds. Even with instruments that are traditionally played with a bow, a conventional bow inevitably creates a brief interruption in the sound whenever you change bow direction. With the Pickaso Rotary Bow, however, you can sustain notes continuously, allowing for a completely different approach without being limited by the length of the bow. I feel that this device has enormous creative potential, and I'm excited to continue exploring the many possibilities it offers.
