Very interesting idea. Missing something critical!!! It should display the actual Beat Per Minute (BPM). Tapping for the click is an approximation, so is tthe twist of the bezel. I need a real numbers readout.

At first, I was skeptical, but I decided to take the plunge. Best decision I've ever made. The watch is rugged, setup was easy and I was ready to go in a few minutes. A few suggestions: (1) A velcro strap option would be faster to attach and remove. (2) A remaining battery power icon in the app would be helpful to know when it's time to recharge. (3) A toggle switch to turn the metronome sound on or off in the metronome tab would be appreciated. (4) An actual metronome sound would be a bonus!

Pros - I do use it and think it works as well as a physical metronome. It's not as annoying to others, though they still have to listen to me practice ;-) Adjusting to this format was actually pretty easy. The portability is liberating! Cons - the hardware interface is ROUGH. It continually fails to respond to the correct sequence of taps and there have to be better ways to accomplish start/stop/pause/on/off - buttons would be much more reliable and intuitive. The app makes it easier to control, but it's a crutch and a tacky funnel into their subscription - the hardware touch detection should be better than it is. I should have read more reviews before purchasing, this seems to be a rampant user complaint. The watch strap has sharp plastic edges which dig in and hurt, it's also frustrating to adjust the circumference when you have to do it with one hand to get it around your wrist or anywhere on your arms. Due to the fact that it can be removed from the bezel to use in different straps, I get why the bezel is hard plastic, but not the strap itself. With so many existing examples of easily adjustable and comfortable silicone and elasticated watch bands, there's no excuse for this regressive design. Having said all of this, I'm not going to return it and hope they will introduce better straps in the short term and a better hardware interface in their next iteration.
