Love it, although actually prefer the 1st version if had to choose, but overall just as good if not better because more versatile, im a creature of habit so not changing my board, but def best preamp out there for price.

This is a really nice pedal with many options for shaping sound. The effects loop on the clean side works very well but it can be pushed into noisy range if not careful. I’ve surprised myself several times with the great sounds that can be coaxed from this pedal. Looks like the second time is a charm……

This kit was a fun build; no soldering and the wrenches were included. Assembled in less than a half hour right before bed. After plugging it for first time, I learned what the hype is with this pedal. The boost circuit alone is amazing but kicking in the drive section opens some dynamics that I haven't experienced with any other pedal... Just saying that I am really pleased with JHS Pedals!!!!
