American Wagyu Tri-Tip

First time ever having Wagyu Tri-Tip

I cooked two of these tri-tips on my Treager pellet grill. I used the cubed recipe from your site and it came out amazing. The meat was tender and juicy. I will order this again.

Wagyu... Average.

I ordered two wagyu Tri-Tips with the 2.25-3 pound range. The marbling was nothing like pictured for either of them. They look like any other 'choice' grade tri-tip I've had in the past. On top of that they were barely 2.25lb with the plastic on. For the price and the Wagyu label I expect better.

Perfect Tri Tip

Fantastic cut and well trimmed. Tuffy stone cooking method: Smoked butter with steak rub. Indirect heat in kamado at 225-250. Reverse Sear to 135. Top 5 grilling experiences for me !
