Profitec GO Espresso Machine

Great machine. I upgraded from a Bambino Plus to this, and the upgrade is significant. I was able to make great espresso with the Breville, but the Profitec clearly has a higher ceiling for quality in the cup. Right away, I could taste and see a difference – much closer to what I'd expect from a commercial machine in a cafe. Coming from the instant heat up with the Bambino, I was unsure how I'd feel about having to wait a bit with the Profitec, but it's not been any problem. The fast heat up function gets there in about 7 minutes. I also use a smart plug to have the machine turn on a little before I wake up, which makes for an even better experience. If you're thinking of upgrading some something more consumer grade, this is a great upgrade.

We've been enjoying using the machine profusely, and are glad to say it's a daily part of our mornings and afternoons (a morning coffee or latte for one of us, a stay-awake-past-8:30 afternoon espresso machine for the other). The wooden attachments were a splurge, but the entire enterprise is a 20th wedding anniversary present to the two of us. Coffee School media was very appreciated!

We recently purchased the Profitec GO paired with the Eureka Specialita grinder, and we couldn’t be happier with the setup. This is our first espresso machine, and after getting everything dialed in, it has been incredibly easy to operate and enjoy on a daily basis. The Profitec GO pulls outstanding shots with beautiful crema, and excellent flavor. Paired with the Specialita grinder, the whole setup feels premium. Once you understand the basics and get the grind dialed in, making great espresso becomes an enjoyable process. For anyone considering this machine and grinder combo, we definitely feel it is worth the money. It has exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!
