I drink this every morning and I truly think it is the best quality green tea for the price in the world.

Great Daily Sencha

Nichigetsu is the only thing I regularly purchase from Ippodo. Very smooth with not an overwhelming amount of astringency. Love this sencha and drink it nearly every day!

Overall favorite sencha

A very high quality Japanese green tea with a very generous offering. I drink sencha every day at work, so I need a lot of tea and it needs to be good quality so I can brew it multiple times. Nichigetsu ticks all of these boxes for me. I would recommend this sencha over Ippodos recommended Hosen tea if this is your first sencha. Hosen is fantastic, but a little too rich in my opinion for a first sencha. Nichigetsu is more soft, but still full-flavored, grassy-sweet sencha.
