⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love Ippodo Sayaka. The color is stunning, a vibrant, rich emerald green that immediately tells you you’re working with a high-quality matcha. The aroma is fresh and inviting, and the flavor is incredibly smooth with very little bitterness. It has a naturally sweet, creamy taste with a pleasant umami depth that comes through without being overpowering. I’ve been using it primarily for iced matcha lattes, and it still shines beautifully through the milk. The matcha flavor is clean, balanced, and never tastes grassy or harsh. It whisks easily into a silky, frothy drink with a gorgeous bright green color that stays vibrant. The quality is exceptional and worth every penny. Great starter!!

For first time matcha this is a great blend for those are a bit nervous ! Not only the color is on point but the texture is just like how matcha is processed in Japan ! From coming back from Japan this brand had been the most authentic matcha I ever had. It has umami and sweetness. For oat lattes it’s great! But for those who want more of the matcha flavor this will maybe miss the mark since this is more for beginner friendlier choice. For my taste preference I will pass this and I will make a purchase on the ummon blend . That blend is more like bold taste for those who want more of a matcha taste. Other than that I do enjoy this brand ! I had tried so many brands from marukyu koyamaen , Junbi, Mizuba matcha. Ippodo had blown me away. Thank you for staying true Ippodo.

First time trying ippodo matcha, I chose sayaka because it had the most reviews. I was blown away by the taste and quality of this matcha. I will definitely be repurchasing it again soon.
