these strings were very helpful getting rid of a nasal tone on my ming jiang zhu 901 violin. Previously I had tried 3 other string brands with no luck. I have since 'moved up' to an ivan dunov superior violin, -much better!- but will still use the old violin for practice and outdoor work.
