The best trail sandal I’ve used so far

After trying four different models, the Retro Oso Flaco is, for me, the best sandal I’ve used so far. It’s the one that adapts best to the shape of my feet and gives me the most natural and secure feeling while running in races up to 50K. As a trail runner in Argentina, I need footwear that can handle the ruggedness of our mountains and the huge variety of terrain we encounter: rocks, moss, mud, sand, dry dirt, snow, and everything in between. So far, this is the only sandal I’ve tried that feels capable of handling all of it. For some specific situations, I think the Middle Bear might be an even better option, especially when I want a little more protection for longer distances or particularly demanding terrain. In fact, I’m already buying a pair to test them as well. I’m very happy with the Retro Oso Flaco so far. The fit, grip, and overall performance have been excellent. Now the only thing left to see is how the durability holds up over time and whether it delivers what it promises.

Out of all the sandals I've tried, these are the most capable, do anything, adventure ready, comfortable sandals.

This is my third pair and I love them. Feet can breathe and they outlast a dozen altras.
