Wonderful Sandals

I was a bit reticent because of the price, but these have far exceeded my expectations. They are easy to adjust and stay on very well. My feet feel secure but have plenty of room to move. I am very pleased.

Very solid and comfortable

I went with the Ibex soles, so they are much thicker than my Elite Maximus sandals, but I got these to be a bit more robust for trail use. I like the more aggressive tread, and the Trailstar lacing system holds your foot on the sandal better on uneven ground. Definitely less ground feel, but for this use I'm OK with that. They are very flexible and move with my feet. I'll be using them in a river in a few weeks, so I'm hoping they will solid in water as well, but will have to wait to find out. My initial impressions are very positive though. I really like the UltraGrip sole. So far no hot spots!

I had a slight wait with my order, which was no problem being customer service was communicative with me. I have tried so many sandals that I can't count them all. Whenever I hike, be feet slide around in them. Once I saw the big toe loop on these, I knew I had to try them. My first impression was "OMG these are the best sandals ever"! They are easy to adjust, and the strap is so soft against the skin. When you properly fit these, they become part of your anatomy. I haven't gotten to hike in them yet, but I am looking forward to it. My biggest qualm is the plastic strap anchors. I can't see them lasting an entirely long time. I'm not sure why they didn't use rubber anchors all the way around.
