They were OK, but not comfortable. I've worn luna sandals with wings for years now (I'm on my 2nd pair) and wanted to upgrade to leather for an even more comfortable walking experience but this just isn't it. Main pain points were (1) that the wings are a different (maybe new?) style and they hit my feet and rub - it was enough that I couldn't make myself wear them and see if I would get used to it. and (2) the way the leather strap ties at the front feels extremely bulky and uncomfortable - also rubbing on the top of my foot. I assume the leather would soften, but it is very thick. overall these are not nicer looking or feeling than the original luna so I don't see a point to spend the extra money.

Rude Surprise

Bisonte's arrived today but not the lacing I'm used to with a buckle on top of the foot - just a wrap around thingie. Not clear in the photo when I bought, went back and looked and if you look hard can see it's no buckle. The card with the sandals had instructions on how to lace, but NOT for the bisonte's I received - instructions are for the Luna's I already have with the buckle on top. Went to Google and YouTube and can't find instructions there either. Pretty poor customer service not to have a how-to link on the Bisonte's webpage. Now what? My 4th pair of Lunas but my first problem - first with over 2 weeks after I ordered and they said they were in stock and now with the lack of information on how to do the lacing. Sandals fine IF I can figure out how to lace them to fit. Paid top dollar...you'd think something as basic as lacing instructions would be easily available. But alas...

Soles are too thick, straps not as pictured

Maybe I just got a weird pair, or I accidentally selected this feature somehow, but the straps are the performance laces and not leather as pictured. Probably just an error at the warehouse. But even if the laces were leather as I thought I was ordering, the soles are far too thick to have a "barefoot" feel. Stiff like a regular shoe. They're zero drop, and the toe space is good and wide, but not enough flexibility. Returning these.
