Good quality and comfortable feel
The leather is top notch and it very soft and smooth feeling on the skin of my heel. It may be almost too soft. After a while walking, the smooth leather tends to slip down my heel a bit but not by much. I wont ding it for that, I wanted comfort with this purchase and I got it.

Achilles saved my achilles!
I ordered the Achilles Armor for my second pair of Shamma sandals, the Elite Warriors. Due to multiple surgeries since I was 2, multiple sprains & breaks and now neuropathy, my feet get damaged easily. On the ankle that has pins and a plate, my achilles tendon was getting very sore from the sandal strap. I tried bandages and mole skin but not sustainable, nor really very helpful. This added piece of leather stopped that pain. Thank you!
