Didn't last for me
I had worn my Trailstar Maximus for about half a year and noticed that the plastic clip on the bottom had broken off leaving the strap exposed, which was worn almost completely through. I contacted Shamma and they were super responsive and sent me new clips and strap, which I installed and started to use again (just for walking around the neighborhood). Its been a few months and I noticed that the clips had again broken, leaving the strap on the bottom exposed, and it was starting to wear through. I had a few extra clips, so decided to replace the clips again, but noticed that they were sticking up so far out the bottom of the sole, that there was no way they wouldn't break again. I'm not sure exactly what the original problem was, but I'm super disappointed in how the sole/clips have been wearing through, because I love the sandals and want them to last!

Fast breaking Material
Hi, I had ordered a pair of Shamma Trailstars from a dealer in Germany in April 2025. After 3 months, the sole anchors are broken on the small toe. The anchors of the shammas are already broken again, namely those at the same point, namely the outer ones, in the small-toe bale region. I think that because of the forefoot walking or running, which is also intended in barefoot sandals, you set up over the outer edge of the forefoot as the first contact to the ground. This results in a strong load profile at precisely this point in the form of pressure and torsion. The soles overall also look like this: high abrasion almost or exclusively in the forefoot area and hardly until no one in the heel area. The rear two anchors have a different material than the front ones, they are more flexible and yet very firm. Or they should not be beyond the level of the sole or Be flush with her, but rather sink, so that the forces do not act so directly on her. Perhaps an idea for the designers?
