Power Straps

Fantastic upgrade.

**Fantastic upgrade for Shamma Sandals** The Power Straps are a huge improvement to an already excellent sandal. They dramatically increase stability, especially for running, hiking, and faster movement, and they solve one of the biggest challenges with minimalist sandal lacing. Without the Power Straps, there can be a bit of a compromise between getting enough toe stability and getting the ankle secure. With them, the heel and ankle are locked in independently, which means I can fine-tune the rest of the lacing exactly the way I want it. The result is a sandal that feels much more secure, responsive, and dialed-in without having to overtighten the main straps. For running in particular, the difference is substantial. The sandal stays exactly where it belongs and feels far more integrated with the foot. The only downside? It takes about three times as long to put the sandals on. 😂 Totally worth it. If you use Shamma Sandals for anything beyond casual walking, I would consider the Power Straps almost essential.

Comfortable and Secure

I bought the power straps because I will be traveling soon and wanted to be sure my sandals would stay firmly on my feet. I have to say the material is top notch and they are very comfortable.

Pulls the Elite lacing together for me.

I basically need them in order to run with the flip flops.
