The sponge was as described and my experience with Filddlershop was good, but I decided against not using a traditional shoulder rest after all. I tried it but it was not for me.

So glad I found these

I bought these for my daughter her was having to learn to play without a shoulder rest. We have to stack 2 for her because she has a long neck, but they seem to work well for her. I was happy not to have to create something from scratch, so we bought 3 extra sets just to have in case something happy to the originals.
