Wonderful grinder to pair with a simple Espresso machine

Wonderful grinder. Do not hesitate to buy any of the Eureka models. Arrived in pristine condition. Buying this Eureka grinder after years of using the clunky Gaggia MDF grinder helped me understand why you need an expensive grinder. I still operate my Gaggia Classic espresso machine and after 10 years it's going strong, and with the Eureka grinder, my bean game is much improved. CAVEAT: Awful instruction manual. Thank goodness for all the youtube videos that made its operation understandable.

A first-rate grinder

This grinder replaced a 20-year-old Nuova Simonelli grinder. The Eureka is much faster and grinds more evenly, the latter resulting in shots that are consistently good. Since I drink caffinated espresso during the day and decaf in the evening, I load the hopper with just the quantity of beans for one shot; therefore I thought the timer would be useless. It isn't. And the portafilter holder works perfectly. Overall, I am extremely happy with this grinder.

Great grinder. The burr works great. Easy to zero and compact to save space on the counter. Great speed, fit and hefty machine.
