I prefer this one to pink salmon one, but both great

I ordered both, this and pink salmon variety and loved both - if you are looking for slightly smaller grains that have a less fishy taste to them and milder saltiness, go for pink salmon variety. I prefer this one - well salted and very fishy (in the best way possible - the fishy flavor is the reason I like caviar to begin with). As another reviewer suggested, keep the whole thing frozen and just break off as much as you plan to eat and defrost it in the fridge - it doesn't take long to defrost (about a few hours to half a day). I am not sure what container is best to defrost it in (the one it comes in is great), but keep in mind it sticks to things easily, even glass. I'd like to try wax paper but am afraid it'll mess with the taste. If you look up online, it says caviar keeps for up to 3 days in the fridge, but quite frankly even a week later it's fine, but if you keep it frozen you can keep it for a long time and just defrost however much you want to eat. I'm really happy I found this site, the caviar is great quality, fairly affordable and it ships rather quickly. I'll be ordering more from here.

Christmas Eve Sushi

We received the package, & all the items we ordered were in there. All the fish was freshly frozen, & the gator meat was outstanding....will order again. Great way to spend Christmas Eve, at home!!
