A Truly Special Matcha

I’m a daily matcha drinker, and this is the highest quality matcha I’ve tried. This was my first single cultivar matcha, and it’s a fascinating and enjoyable experience. Virtually no bitterness, and the umami and sweetness are certainly present. There’s a flavor reminiscent of seaweed or vegetable broth, but it’s also far more complex than that. The flavor took me a couple of tastings to get used to, but now I enjoy it more and more each time I try it! Definitely will be trying more of Kettl’s single cultivar offerings.
