Comfortable and easy to assemble

The chair is extremely easy to assemble and requires no tools. This is my first "nice" office chair and I'm very pleased with the comfort and ergonomics. I can hardly tell it isn't new. I'll definitely be coming back if I ever need another.

Everything I've been looking for. I'm a 5'10" 280lbs man, the kind of body that says "that guy lifts but also definitely likes cake". I work full remote from my home in IT. I need a chair I can spend long hours in. Coming off my third racing chair in 5 or so years I knew something had to change. Like many of you I went down the rabbit hole trying to find out which chair was best for me. These things are a lot of money and at a glance seem so similar. Obviously, I choose the Steelcase Amia after spending hours scouring youtube videos and reading online reviews. My chair took 2-3 weeks to arrive and arrived in one semi large package that was moderately heavy. I hoisted the thing in and opened it. It had a small amount of packing paper but arranged smartly and efficiently. I for one appreciated that this thing wasn't packed to the brim with packing peanuts or Styrofoam. Assembly was easy and straightforward and the instructions were well laid out and easy to read and understand even including a QR code to a short Youtube video demonstration. I did have a minor defect in the chair. The lumbar support was incredibly difficult to adjust to the point where I thought I was about to break the chair and the back cushion kept popping out of the clips which hold it in place at the top. I sent an email that evening to Crandall support with a picture of this and my order number and received a response on Monday morning where the support rep provided me with a link to a short youtube video (sub 3 min) that demonstrated how to disassemble the back cushion from the rest of the chair. I followed this and had it off in 5 minutes and I noticed the lumbar support seems to have gotten somehow misaligned - likely in transit. This easily slid back in place and was undamaged and I was able to put the cushion back into place in another 5 minutes. I was initially concerned that I would need to send the chair back and was very happy to see that was completely unnecessary. The chair itself is very comfortable, I appreciate the added cushion to the bottom and the 3D bio knit I selected stays nice and cool even after long hours in the chair. The armrests move from side to side a bit easy for my liking but this is an extremely minor annoyance that is fixed in literally a seconds readjustment. The back tilt takes a little getting used to although part of this stems from my own anxieties given one of my old E-win racing chairs back support broke causing me to hilariously tumble out of the chair. No such problems here, I'm just a bit hesitant to lean back lol. All in all this chair - unlike any I had before looks nice, it FEELS nice and it feels well made. The warranty and support makes it an easy choice. I'll be recommending this brand and this company to colleagues going forward.

You’ll never buy new again

I literally cannot tell that this isn’t a brand new chair! Such beautiful workmanship in their remanufacturing process. Certainly a bargain for *great* quality chairs!
